Blu frens are tired of bringing up the name Cosmic Network as the ecosystem wants to focus on development and progress, however at this point of time this issue has become very serious and is preventing the release of new applications built on Sentinel on the app stores.
Contributors to the Sentinel ecosystem will have potentially no choice but to pursue action against Cosmic in order to be able to get dVPN applications built on Sentinel approved on the app stores without an issue.
The iOS store is refusing to list the new Cosmo dVPN due to code conflicts with @Network_Cosmic's 'Cosmic VPN' which has forked and reused Sentinel's blockchain code as well as Android/IOS application code without originally highlighting or mentioning this. After Cosmic was called out, they added attribution to their website very recently in the past few weeks which is very unethical and illegal as app must clearly declare their attribution upon the time of submission to the app stores.
Proof -
All of the naming conflicts for Cosmo dVPN have been resolved with the name 'Cosmo' getting a green light to go ahead, however at this point of time the approval is stalled as the Cosmic team resubmitted 'new code' is now claiming to the app stores that the code is their own and they have just renamed several files - leading the app stores to actually suspend Sentinel contributor accounts and question developers on plagiarism.
The app stores don't have enough time to look in between the lines and determine who is being honest in these situations even though the facts are very clear and transparent. Hopefully there will be a positive resolution soon without the requirement for too much energy being spent on this.
